Experience and qualifications in education, marketing and health promotion before extending her focus in healthy workplaces to pursue a career in safety. Initially working on reducing UV exposure for outdoor workers then in the aged care and disability sectors. Currently WHS Consultant at Arts and Culture Trust coordinating safety management for theatre venues infrastructure, production crew, hospitality, front of house, and corporate teams.
Providing advice on all aspects of safety in a unique high risk dynamic workplace staging productions at multiple venues each presenting new challenges. Areas reviewed working from heights, noise management, emergency management, psychosocial safety, hazardous chemicals, electrical hazards, manual handling, ergonomics, I joined the WA Committee to learn more about safety from a team of experienced enthusiastic safety professionals from several different industries and to actively participate in the promotion of branch safety events.
